The Best Western Blue Sea Lodge was so nice. Our room was small but, it looked bigger with a mirror wall on one side. I liked the way the rooms opened to the pool area. You walk right out the pool area and are right on the boardwalk to the ocean. It was a nice place to stay and central to everything in San Diego.

All rooms had a view of the ocean.

The bed was a bit lumpy.

The hotel staff, location and parking were good. The heater didn't work very well, my husband and I were cold in the room. Plus, we could hear our neighbors. But, for an overnight trip, it was a great spot. We'd love to go back when its warmer since its got such a great location at the beach.

Loved that it was literally steps from the beach!

You can hear through the walls.

The hotel include both luxurious spacious rooms. Recently, 26 new room have been added, all of them include a balcony with ocean view. King, queen, double queen and double double size beds are available in the rooms. Guests will enjoy cable television, refrigerator and microwave. Local calls are free if under 30 minutes. Enjoy the beach once you leave your valuables in the in-room safe.
