As a new motel, it is very clean and well decorated except bed skirt was not pressed which looked tacky. Exhaust fan in room continual and noisy.

Nice decor. Friendly staff.

The 100-room Holiday Inn Express Sacramento Airport is four miles from the airport and provides a complimentary 24-hour shuttle to that facility. Other items included with the room rate at this three-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room tea and coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. The property is located off Interstate 5 between downtown and the airport and is seven miles from the convention center. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 40 guests. It maybe out by the airport but many frequent visitors to Sacramento rate this Holiday Inn Express rate this as one of the best places to stay in the California capital. The cheerful crew of employees is fast and friendly. Several guests said check-in took only minutes. The rooms here were comfortable, squeaky clean and nicely equipped. Many first-time visitors said the outdoor heated swimming pool was a great place to relax after a tiring day of traveling and they said they would return to this hotel on future visits to the area.
