My wife and I spent one night at the Delta King recently. We were too tired to take advantage of the restaurant which looked excellent but we did get to walk around the neighborhood a little which was quite nice and our room was very pleasant. The boat is beautiful and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend the Delta King to anyone who want a good, out of the ordinary, hotel experience.

Authentic old riverboat nicely restored. Rooms small but nice. For very special occasion try the "Captain's Quarters", was great.

I always look for smaller, unique hotels versus large chains. Nice lounge overlooking the river, and very friendly staff.

The best thing about the Delta King was the Murder Mystery Dinner show! That night, there was a baseball game across the river, so we got to watch some fireworks from the top level of the boat! Very romantic!! The only bad thing was that it was in the middle of summer, and the a/c in the room did not work very well at all... We even put it on full blast, and could still barely feel it. Overall, it was a unique experience, but I wouldn't stay there again. (One night was enough). The shows are a definite must though, but better to stay the night at another hotel.

Great place to stay for a visit to Old Sacramento. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dining room and bar are very elegant. Room was small but that was to be expected on a boat. Wrought iron footboard on the bed was a killer. Stubbed our toes almost every time we walked by. Noticed that not all rooms have that style of footboard. Would definitely stay there again.

There was a front desk person, an older woman, that was on in the late afternoon that was exceptionally rude and very unhelpful. She alsmot caused me to loose my ice packets and did not relay the message to the next desk person so that at 4:30 am he had no idea where they were. Other than that the stay was very pleasant and we would stay again.
