We had stayed at this Best Western previously 2-3 years ago and it was sub-standard at best, but the rooms had been remodeled with a very nice decor, the bedding was much better and the granite countertop in the bathroom was quality, however, I did not like the shower as the water pressure was terrible and I think I could have gotten a better shower running around under the water saving shower head. Overall the service and hotel were much better than I thought it would be; the complimentary continental breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. They gave me a tip on where I could do my daily walk, which turned out to be a nice walkway.

It looked newly remodeled inside the room from the time we stayed there 2-3 years ago.

The pool was under maintenance and the Jacuzzi gate was locked to guests.

Pleasant place, clean. Probably the best in Porterville.

Seemed fairly need; staff very nice at front desk.

They closed the courtesy breakfast exactly at 9:00 a.m. I missed by a minute.

Situated just south of downtown and within walking distance of Porterville College, Best Western Porterville Inn makes a fine starting point and retreat that exhibits wonderful decorations and beautifully landscaped grounds. The propertys location is very convenient to a variety of shopping, business and delicious eateries. Nearby points of interests also include golfing, and fishing, skiing and camping at Lake Success. All guests of this hotel can wake up each morning to a free continental breakfast which can be enjoyed while reading a complimentary newspaper or tapping into wireless high-speed internet that is available in all public areas.

The hotels indoor public areas dont feature a lot of fine furnishings, but a somewhat pleasant theme is set up throughout. Rose gardens on the outside are very nice. Staff members can be quite rude, but for the most part they are professional and organized. Rooms are clean, comfortable and hold a nice ambience. Breakfast isnt great, but it is filling and fairly adequate.
