The Ballantines Original Hotel is a vintage boutique hotel colorfully displayed to please unlike no other. Its 1950’s touch will assure the guest an experience like no other. The hotel features 14 rooms and suites each uniquely decorated for kicking back with an easy mind after a day of fun in the sun. It offers plenty of pleasing services such as a day spa, sun bathing patios for soaking up some sun, a private poolside massage room to work on those tight spots and a concierge service.

The decorations in the rooms are clever and well thought of, as well as the rest of the hotel. The spa and massage are of very high quality. Some of the rooms have a loud air conditioner. The price is high for what is being offered. The over all feel of the place is tranquil, cool and fun. Kids under 14 are not allowed so the pool tends to be quiet and peaceful. Ballantines Original Hotel Accommodations

The hotel offers 14 differently themed 1950’s style rooms to choose from in accordance with your personal taste. Enjoy the Andy Warhol room with photographs of Marylin Monroe or the French 50`s decorated in red and green. Some rooms have a private sunbathing patio and a panoramic view of the surrounding mountainous landscape.
All rooms have a mini fridge.

Amenities offered

At this hotel you can spend an evening in a variety of ways. In-house 1950's classic and B movies are offered for watching some vintage cinema. You can lay down at the blue Astroturf sun deck to catch some rays and if you’re looking to relax you can experience the day spa and its various treatments or hit the private massage room to release all cares. The hotel lounge is a quiet spacious place to do some reading or you can request it for a private party. The hotel offers complimentary poolside breakfast, free local calls and a concierge service. 1. Take Interstate 10 from LA, East Bound. Interstate 10 circumnavigates downtown LA, so be careful to follow the signs. Stay on the 10 past Ontario Airport
2. After Cabazon Outlet Mall (1 hour, 25 minutes) look for sign to Palm Springs - Hwy 111.
3. Take Hwy 111, the first exit on the right side. Travel about 5 mileson 111 until you reach Palm Springs.
4. At the 3rd traffic light, turn left on Vista Chino.
5. Take the first right on Indian Canyon Drive.
6. Go 2 blocks. Ballantines Original Hotel is on the left. The cross street is Stevens. Turn left in front of the hotel and park in front of the building.
