I had read some negative reviews before going to this hotel. However, I must admit that the room was very pleasing, the employees were kind and helpful, and I did enjoy my stay. I would stay there again.

The room decor was very appealing.

The bed was hard and the walls were thin enough to hear the person next door.

If you are looking for convenient location to Downtown shops, restaurants, and a nice view across the golf course to the rustic mountain range, this is the hotel. Hotel was clean, staff very knowledgeable about Palm Springs and exceptionally hospitable. Only a few hundred yards from being able to climb that mountain behind the hotel. Great experience!

Location to shops/restaurants, convenience and attractiveness.

Could use updated furniture and d?cor.

The Hyatt Regency Suites Palm Springs is in an ideal location downtown with great views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The all suites property there is 193 of them is well suited for both leisure and business traveler with modern facilities to satisfy those wanting to work, work out or just relax. For business meetings or banquets the hotel has 10 meeting rooms, all fully sound-proofed, with the latest in sound and lighting systems. The hotel offers free transfers between the property and the airport. There is fine Californian dining on-site but numerous eateries within easy walking distance.

Each suite measures 606-square feet and is decorated in soft, desert colors, with a choice of one king-size or two double beds, marble bath with hairdryer and separate sitting area with sofa sleeper and dining table for four. French doors open onto a furnished balcony offering views of the mountains and pool or Palm Canyon Drive. Amenities include Internet access, iron and ironing board, refrigerator, satellite TV, IDD telephone with speakerphone, coffee maker and in-room safe. Room service is available during regular hours and newspapers are available at the front desk.

Dining options include the Palm Court Cafe and Lounge open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Spritzes is open for lunch or afternoon snacks by the pool. Frozen drinks are the specialty. The fitness center features an exercise studio with free weights, exercise cycles and stair climber. The outdoor heated pool with sundeck enjoys views of the San Jacinto Mountains. The business center, in the lobby area has Internet access and copying, printing and fax machines. There is a gift shop and hair and manicure salon on-site and the 24-hour front desk offers currency exchange and can organize a baby sitter.

The location downtown within walking distance of the fine shops and restaurants of Palm Springs is a major reason many guests are repeat visitors. No complaints about the friendly staff but several clients say some of the suites are in need of upgrading. Another plus point was the fact that the hotel never feels overcrowded and there is always space to be found around the pool.
