The 104-room Oakland Airport Fairfield Inn by Marriott is located between San Jose, Silicon Valley and the heart of San Francisco. The Oakland International Airport is one mile away and the hotel does offer a shuttle service. The hotel is minutes away from BART (the Bay Area Rapid Transit), the bay area subway system and the McAfee Coliseum, home of the Oakland Raiders and the Oakland A's. The three storey property is three miles from Alameda Beach and there are three golf courses within easy driving distance.

Yes, if you want a room close to Oakland Airport. No, if you are looking for a long-stay in an upmarket area. Sadly this hotel doesn’t get great reviews from those who have stayed here. It is ideally located for the airport and acceptable for an overnight stay. Several former guests said they would not stay here again since the location leaves a lot to be desired. From San Francisco Airport (SFO) 30 miles: Exit Airport to South bound 101/San Jose. Take the Highway 92/San Mateo Bridge exit going East. Travel over the Bridge to the I-880 North ramp/Oakland. Take the Hegenberger Rd/Coliseum Exit, and turn right at Edes Ave. From San Jose Airport (SJC): Exit Airport to Airport Blvd, go to Brokaw Rd and turn right. Follow Brokaw Rd to I-880, North/Oakland. Take the Hegenberger Rd/Coliseum Ext. Turn right at Edes Ave.
