arrived to check in at 3pm, a mad house. was promised room availability a while later,had to leave for appointment, returned 5 hours later,room not ready. really complained and they "found" me a room very quickly. very unnecessary performance by them

It was the worst check-in experience I've ever had! We requested early check in, and were told the day of check in that our rooms would be ready at 1:30. We didn't get into the rooms until after 5:00!

Fairmont GOLD is the way to go! Great service and the Private Lounge experience made a great addition to this memorable experience - food was great!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The service was wonderful and quite personalized. The room service was very good food - a little pricey but worth it. Beds were very comfortable with nice linens. Soaking tubs were very relaxing. Everything decor wise is high end, with a luxurious feel. Only drawback is valet parking is required at $22 per day/night. We used their shuttle service several times - very convenient. Few glitches with the TV, but called the front desk - they were quick to respond and went out of their way to fix it and make us happy. Overall, we will be back often.

Hotel was recently renovated, very clean rooms, comfortable bedding, and direct connect high speed internet available. Rooms come with flat screen and own DVD player to watch your own DVDs. Great service from checking in/out, maid and valet. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice property, clean throughout, apparently recently renovated. Comfortable bads, that "new hotel smell", Flat screen TV although didn't really seem Hi Def. Valet parking attendants hover, looking for tips, without really helping. 5 minutes wait to check in, not a big deal but not 4-star. The one time I called the front desk, it rang a few times and then transferred me to a call holding queue, waited for at least a minute until someone picked up and then transferred me back to the front desk. No biggie, but not 4/5-star. Upon check out we had the same issue with waiting in line.
