The hotel staff was very nice to us. The hotel is scheduled for removing, and not too soon. The room needed repairs and renovation. For instance, the exhaust fan, which runs continously (no way to turn off), is noisy. The room was a bit dingy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Portofino. We loved being right on the beach, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The downside was the cleanliness. The whole hotel could have used a thorough scrubbing! Our bathroom had mold that would have been easily scrubbed away with some hard cleaning.

I wasn't happy with the room having no window. I found out that they only have 2 rooms with ocean views. I wanted to leave after 1 night, but stayed for 2 nights. Dirty and torn linens, mold on shower curtain, torn wallpaper. Not a great place
