The Marriott Newport Beach has fabulous boutiques and restaurants at its doorstep. Fashion Island, a premiere outdoor shopping mall is directly across the street. The mall is great for visitors with four legged friends. Those searching designer labels usually reserved for Rodeo Drive will enjoy shopping at South Coast Plaza. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the beautiful beaches of sunny California. Art lovers will enjoy Laguna Beach with its many galleries and outdoor summer art festivals. No trip to Southern California is complete without a visit to the happiness place on earth; Disneyland. Disney is only 20 minutes from the hotel. For those that want to visit Universal Studios tours are available with pickup from the hotel. The area has many beautiful private and public golf courses. The area boasts a wonderful selection of restaurants many within a quick drive.

This is truly a wonderful hotel to stay at. The interior of the hotel is a little dated, however the rooms have been recently renovated are very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is actually a great place to dine. I had friends that stayed here and quite enjoyed their stay. I spent time with them at the hotel. The hotel offers guests a selection of guest rooms, 20 suites and 5 recently renovated Penthouse Suites. The entire hotel is non-smoking. All rooms have a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean or Newport Beach Yacht Harbor. Guests will enjoy the bathrooms with their glass-encased showers and the granite countertops. It is always enjoyable to step out of the shower into a cozy bathrobe.
