The room had a slight odor and the quality of the bed and furniture were very poor. But I got used-to the odor quickly. And everything in the room worked correctly. Overall, I'd say I got what I paid for.

The closeness to Monterey; it was easy to navigate via Fremont St.; the value for the price paid for the room was outstanding considering the locale.

Its convenience to downtown Monterey; the PRICE.

The blond staff person in the office appeared to care less if I was there or not, esp. at checkout.

It was the excellent landscaping and beautiful flowers surrounding the property that impressed visitors to Monterey who stayed at this Comfort Inn. Many clients said the property offered great value and the cheerful crew of employees was both professional and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and first-time visitors say they plan to return to this hotel on future visits to the area.
