I have stayed here before. The hotel is great for conventions and groups. The hotel is needing a major renovation within the next two years. For the price your paying accommodations need to be more in tune with other hotels. No refrigerator in the room and no mini bar.

Conveniently located by highway, it is on the old delmonte golf course. Plenty of restaurants and convenient to monterey and cannery row.

Hotel rooms need to be upgraded. furniture is getting old.

The bed was nice, the room was very old and the noisy and that building seemed like the break room for hotel staff. I imagine that remodeled rooms were nice but don't know.

Nice restaurant and location.

Room was part of the non remodeled part of the hotel, noisy, old, and ugly.

The 275-room Hyatt Regency Monterey Resort and Conference Center is the most complete resort destination on the Monterey Peninsula. The resort is on 22 coastal acres just minutes from Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel-by-the-Sea and Pebble Beach. It is ideally suited for business conventions or family vacations. The property has a full complement of leisure facilities on site and a new full-service spa featuring 12 exclusive spa suites. There are jogging paths and cycle trails and bicycles available for rent.The resort has 32 meetings rooms and 40.000 square feet of function space to handle conferences and exhibitions.

The least expensive rooms come with a choice of one king or two double beds and the fully-equipped modern bathrooms have a hairdryer. Other amenities include a work desk with Internet access, cable TV with in-room pay movies, IDD telephone with voicemail, electronic door lock, iron and ironing board, bottled water and coffee maker. Safe deposit boxes are available at the front desk. Room service is available from 6.30am until 11.30am and then from 5pm until 10pm.

Professional and attentive staff gets high praise from former visitors. There were complaints about over-pricing and dated rooms. That stopped when the resort completed a $45 million renovation project. This is a golfers paradise. In addition to the adjacent course the famed Pebble Beach Golf Course is six miles away and there are other course nearby. Leisure visitors enjoyed touring the Monterey wineries and tasting rooms and the Laguna Seca Raceway.
