This hotel had features like microwave, refrigrator, laundry, fitness center, swimming which made extended stay very relaxing....It was like staying at home rather than at hotel.

The room was a studio, so it came with microwave, refrigrator, laundry ..

Although it was non-smoking room there was smell of cigarattes.

This is a very good hotel. Has Studio setting with microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, etc., (also has laundry facility). Safety is ok, although there does not seem to be any closed circuit camera, but every place needs access card to get in. The negative is the room I stayed in had cigarette smell when it was supposed to be non-smoking room. Hotel does not have any eat in restaurant, although it has compimentary pre-packed (not really good) breakfast to go. It has a basic fitness center & swimming pool. Staff was courteous. Although this hotel was only 2 stars I could rate it atleast 3 stars.

Studio style setting with microwave, etc., with plenty of space.

There was cigaratte smell in non-smoking room.

The pet-friendly TownePlace Suites by Marriott Milpitas provides quality extended-stay accommodation at a budget price for both the business and pleasure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel comprises 143 suites all with complete kitchens. Items included with the room rate are a grab-and-go breakfast bag, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee and snacks available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel adjoins the Great Mall of the Bay Area and is five miles from the Great America theme park. San Jose State and Santa Clara Universities are six miles away and the Winchester Mystery House seven miles distant.

All the suites have separate living and sleeping areas and a work desk with high-speed Internet access. Several clients described their stay at this Marriott property as fantastic. Some of the special touches they enjoyed were the cookies, coffee and muffins in the lobby and free bottled water in the rooms. The rates were reasonable, the suites new and spacious, and the employees were friendly and efficient. First time visitors said they would stay here again and planned to recommend the property to family and friends.
