Customer Reviews for The Orlando Hotel

Good locations - posted on 02/22/2007

The hotel is a bit shabby. Just little things not taken care of. For the price I expect more care to be taken. It is somewhat upscale modern but feels like a business hotel. The outside is not very attractive; the inside makes up for it. The bathroom had mold on the light fixtures and peeling paint and holes in the ceiling above the sink. The tub faucet had a constant small stream of water coming out of it. It was quiet and there were a lot of families there when we stayed. Staff was accomodating. Breakfast was good and included in the room

Awesome Boutique Hotel - posted on 11/14/2006

We celebrated our anniversary and booked the executive room for two nights--fabulous! They take the prize for sophistication--the decor is very modern. French doors opened to the outside patio with a view of the hills. The restaurant, La Terza is highly regarded by locals--excellent Italian food. The owners are charming. Your stay includes a full cooked to order breakfast. The location is perfect--lots of shopping. Very close to Farmers Market, Beverly Hills, The Grove and the West Side. Parking is $20.50 per day with in.out priveliges. It is definitely 4 stars!

Convenient & Comfortable - posted on 09/27/2006

We enjoyed the great central location of The Orlando. The Grove, LA County Art Museum, Beverly Center are all so close. Great cafes & shopping nearby. Bed, linens, and towels were all luxurious. Breakfast was wonderful with excellent fresh fruit. Just make sure they remember to give you your vouchers! Wish there was a self-park option.

Trip to Design Center - posted on 06/29/2006

The contemporary remodeling ideas were well conceived, but the execution was poor. The decor shows well in photos but not in person. Other: we had ants, a noisy pool area and AC unit, and very small bath. The breakfast was short on service. Good location for the design area.

Wonderful stay! - posted on 03/27/2006

Upgrade to the Executive Room they were just remodeled: Ipod/ DSL/ Robes/ Slippers/ Plasma TV. La Terza is not to be missed for drinks & dinner, terrific food and great service. The Complimentary European Breakfast Buffet was very good and the Taxi Voucher was a first for us.

My experience... - posted on 10/17/2005

The lobby will make you think that this is more of a design hotel. But, the rooms will definitely remind you that this is a motel. Very dated and not that clean!
