Nice Rooms/Terrible Service - posted on 06/16/2005
My husband is in the military and deployed, so I was traveling alone across the country. I had 3 bags, 2 carseats, a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old. I struggled from the curb to the front desk with NO offer of help from any of the employees that passed me along the way. The rooms were beautiful, but the service was terrible!

The location to the airport is perfect! The staff was very cordial and considerate. The water in the bathroom was as hard as it could be! Had to go to the store and buy some Calgon to add to the water. There was no fan in the bathroom either. Bed was comfortable though. Had the best steak I've ever eaten 3 doors down at the Marriott! Would probably stay somewhere else next time....closer to Hollywood/Sunset Blvd.
Decent for a one night stay - posted on 02/07/2007
The rooms are not clean, I found a packet of crackers behind my bed when I lost the remote. The staff was VERY rude. I had a question about the cost of the internet and the person simply cut me off and transfered me. After being on hold for a while I called back and told them not to transfer me. After the person listened they easily answered my question. But the restraunt is nice and it is so close to LAX that I would stay again for one night travel. I think the hotel may be writing those 5 star reviews!
Not really happy - posted on 10/28/2006
Close to LAX , complimentary shuttle runs every 15 minutes. Front desk staff not friendly. Rooms are old, no exhaust fans in bathrooms, dirty carpet with many stains. No table in the room. Kids ate on beds. Doors slam loudly, woke often. We were given a room that was already occupied and embarrassed to open the door to find people inside. The bellhop arranged a different room. No apology to our family who was left in a hallway with our baggage for 20 minutes. Room service was quick. Housekeeping needed 2 calls to bring towels. Won't stay there again.
no hot water in bathroom - posted on 10/02/2006
stayed for one night before a flight. there was no hot water in the bathroom, the a/c unit was loud, switched me to a new room
Worth it! - posted on 09/18/2006
After reading the reviews on here, we were a little shakey in staying here, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the wood oven pizza was great. It is an older hotel and does see a lot of traffic, the rooms however are clean and comfortable. We would go back and not hesitate to stay here again

We found a good deal on a room here so we booked it ,we have never traveled to LA so we didn't know where to stay. I was a little nervous after reading the reveiws but i was plesantly surprised ,ever employee we encountered was very helpful and friendly. the rooms were very nice and comfortable. the pool was a little small but it was fine for are 7 year old who loved it. the hotel is easy access to every place we went. I would recomend this hotel .We did enjoy ourselves. So don't be scared off by other comments we were very happy with our stay.
Crowne Plaza - posted on 07/12/2006
Stayed only one night for a very early flight out of LAX. If you need a bed and not too much more, this place is fine. Bed was comfortable but carpeting was dirty/stained and bathroom could be better. Free airport shuttle but give plenty of time because it also stops at Radisson and it might take a while to get to your terminal.
Avoid this place - posted on 06/20/2006
This "hotel" is in worn-out condition and needs renovation. They give you absolutely nothing for the money and I felt cheated when I left. I travel in and out of LAX about 10 - 15 times a year and have stayed at most of the other LAX hotels and this one is pretty much close to the bottom (for the price which is not cheap). Believe me, there are much better choices.
VERY PLEASED!!!!!!!! - posted on 04/17/2006
I HAD A BEAUTIFULL TIME IN THIS TRIP!!!!!!!!!! THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE AND SO WERE THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never Again! - posted on 10/19/2005
The parking lot was filthy, the common hallways had torn wallpaper and needed painting. The lock on our door looked like it had been tampered with. The non-smoking floor and room smelled like smoke. It took 15 minutes for us to get a server to take our order in the bar. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Never again...
Great Room - posted on 03/04/2005
I Was surprised at how nice the room was, a great value for what you get, would stay here again
Great Hotel Close to Airport - posted on 01/27/2005
This was a great hotel close the airport, and well priced in comparison to some of the same rated hotels that are in the same price range. The rooms were very well appointed. We were very pleased.
Nice view of the Airport - posted on 01/10/2005
I really liked the room, more comfortable them my brother's who stayed at another hotel closer to Fox hills mall area. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, especially if I don't bring my own pillows. I was able to use the pillows they had and have a decent nights sleep. No real problem with the noise from the airport unless you have super hearing and very sensitive to any noise.

This was a great stay. The room key kept failing. There was paint needed in a few places. Workout room and biz center was excellent. Parking of $12/day seems steep if you are staying there.
