About the Crowne Plaza Los Angeles International Airport

Although the Crowne Plaza is located right next to LAX, it does more than serve as a mere hotel of convenience. Located minutes from the beach, and several major shopping districts it can be a pleasant starting point for your exploration of the city. They take their role as an International Hotel seriously with hotel staff that speak eleven different languages. It has a simple elegance that can be very comforting when traveling. A 24-hour shuttle service returns you to your terminal when your trip is through.

It's hard to expect much from a hotel that's located next to an airport because you get an inevitable influx of people from delayed and cancelled flights who are just "put up" at neighboring hotels for convenience's sake. With that said, the Crowne Plaza is definitely a step up from normal airport hotels, but you never quite get rid of that feeling, could be the constant air traffic overhead, or else the lobby full of tourists.
