The vast Marriott Los Angeles Airport hotel with 985 rooms on 18 floors has undergone a $20 million face lift to cater for the needs of business and leisure travelers using the nearby airport. A free shuttle operates every 20 minutes between the hotel and the terminals. New attraction is the Champions Sports bar which has over 50 flat panel TVs. The hotel caters for conferences with 38 meetings rooms and a total of 55,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel is close to major highway interchanges which puts it within easy driving distance of Manhattan Beach Pier, the Santa Monica Pier and amusement park and the world-class shopping at Rodeo Drive.

Former clients commend the service here saying how easy it is to check in or check out. Fast and friendly staff at the front desk gets the credit for this. The location, just two blocks from the airport, is a major plus. There were comments that the rates were competitive but charges for Internet access and parking were high. From Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport (BUR) 20 miles NE, Take 101 Freeway West to 405 South. Exit Century Blvd. West. From Long Beach Airport (LGB) 20 miles SW. Take 405 North to 105 Freeway West, exit Sepulveda, go right to Century Boulevard, East Ramp, continue 3 blocks, exit to Airport Boulevard, turn left, then right into the hotel.
