Bathroom tub needs new non-stick, very slippery. Vent in B-room did not work. No one at the desk told me that parking was an additional charge of $22/day. the clerk asked me for my parking stub and said "let me take care of that." When I checked out I realized what the charge was for.

we felt that we weren't as welcome as other guests who had purchased rooms through the hotel, rather than through a "discount" website. some of the staff were very helpful, friendly, but others (notably a concierge) were not only unhelpful but also unpleaseant. also, our room was located across from the housekeeping room and we heard no noise at all from that.

the hotel price is reasonable, room very clean. the only thing need to improve is parking fee $22 /day too expensive. Staff very nice.

I found that the downtown LA Sheraton was under new management so I decided to give it chance. The layout is somewhat old school ('70s - which isn't all bad, very roomy) but it is clear that they have been putting some money in renovation. The service is what sold me - an outstanding motivated group of professionals at every turn! Wish all my stays were like this. I will be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the remodeled Sheraton Downtown. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you step inside, WOW! Great central location. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds very comfortable. The most important thing was the clean bathrooms. If you travel often you know what I mean. The front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

What a wonderful hotel. The bed is so comfortable. A very clean and comfortable environment. One of the best hotels in downtown. Excellent location.

This hotel has done nice upgrades since becoming a Sheraton. Love the beds. Wireless high speed internet is a nice amenity.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in August 2004 (our first time in LA). We got a fantastic rate and were very pleased. The room was clean and spacious; the bathroom positively sparkled. The price for valet parking is a little steep ($20/day), and we had to have the front desk call down to wake the attendant to get our car in the wee hours. But all in all, the service was good, and the hotel is very well kept. Not luxurious, but certainly recommended!

Rooms need refurbishing. Mildew on shower ceiling. Housekeeping need thorough cleaning. Found trash underneath bed. Front desk should be more courteous.
