Customer Reviews for Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel

Great getaway - posted on 04/13/2007

I took my 13 year old to LA from NY for a four-day getaway. We had a blast and were able to completely relax because there were NO hassles. Hotel was clean, concierge helpful and food delicious. Bus stop around the corner cost only 75 cents and got us to Venice Beach and Santa Monica.

The hotel was fabulous. Incidentals were a little pricey, but I guess thats the cost of a great hotel.

best hotel stay - posted on 01/17/2007

We stayed for 3 nights on our way to figi. Shopping is right across the street, movie theatre, and restaurants! Valets are worth every penny! Very promt and kind! The room had a very comfortable bed & a fantastic view of L.A at night( we were on the 19th floor.) The only downfall was children playing in the large grassy area out behind the hotel by the pool. They were very loud and kept kicking their soccer ball into the guests while they were trying to lay by the pool. No supervision at the pool. Not even parents. The hotel is very quiet, and very well maintained.

Even pay for breathing - posted on 01/06/2007

my husband and I went there for our honeymoon. Pretty much it cost us to go anywhere. We had to pay 20 bucks everytime we parked the car in the garage next to the hotel. I did not like that at all. Over all it was a good stay though. Staff was really nice

Great LA Choise - posted on 09/28/2006

This hotel is a classic. Great location if you're doing business in the Hollywood area. Excellent service. Rooms okay. Priced appropriately. Macy's is right across the street if you find that you forgot something like I did. I didn't use the spa but heard it was superb. Nice outside area by pool for end of the day meetings with clients.

Great Customer Service - posted on 07/05/2006

I stayed here while on a business trip. I had a couple of last minute items to purchase for an event that I was attending. I paid the $25 for the valet, but it was worth it. After my initial drop-off, I could just pull up and get out of my car and the valet would take care of the car for me and they even knew my name. Then, when I needed to leave, I just called downstairs and my car was always ready for me. The doormen were especially friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Better than most! - posted on 02/12/2006

I had a prepaid reservation and front desk person had difficulty locating the information in the hotel computer. Front desk supervisor was very helpful and quickly assisted in my check in. Rooms are very nicely decorated, clean and quiet. Great bathrooms. Good proximity to Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Excellent service in the sushi bar. I will definitely return again.

After spending 3 weeks in China this hotel was JUST was needed. The restaurant staff gave wonderful service which was not limited to what to eat. recommendations as to places to see and things to do which were off the beating path. I loved being pampered and would definately return.

Stay in style - posted on 06/20/2005

We found the Westin Century Plaza to be located in a nice area next to 90210. It is in a business area and on the weekend was very quiet with no congestion. The hotel was clean and our contact with the staff was nice. You can walk to Rodeo Dr. and into some nice neighborhoods for a relaxing stroll. I think the rate could be a little cheaper because valet is a little pricey. The Minnesota Twins were there and another famous star, but I will not drop the name. Yes she is pretty in person... A great location for couples or business travelers.

Amazing Pet Friendly Hotel - posted on 06/02/2005

This is the absolute greatest place to stay either with or without your pet. The service is exceptional. When you check in, the hotel will provide a heavenly bed for your pet and food/water bowls. The human beds and linens are fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and the spa is nice.
