i was in town for a graduation with children. the hotel was clean . the rooms were nice. i would stay here again. the dining was very good, but expensive for a family. the hotel is not too large and i liked that . i liked this hotel more than i thought i would.

I chose this hotel because it is in downtown LA where I was gonig to be at the end of a day of business meetings. I read the reviews and though they weren't sparkling, they weren't bad. It's safe, clean, has a restaurant/bar. Not great rooms but not horrible. Nothing fancy and not badly priced.

Although the room was nice, clean and bed comfortable, shower was great, checking in late after a long trip we found room service limited, no mini bar in the room and the bar closed at 12am on Friday and the lounge was closed at 11:20 on Saturday night. Of course the Standard was close by with an excellent small restaurant on the main floor for a late meal with chill sounds and lively crowd - so made the best of situation. The hotel site is great as it is near the Disney Hall and a block away from Wilshire.

When I wasn't dealing with any of the staff my stay was generally pleasant. The rooms were a little dirty, but nothing too bad. The bed was comfortable, and overall our stay was fine. However, I will not be returning, and don't advise you to either. Parking is a fiasco, and the customer service is abysmal.

I've stayed here several times. Always found a clean, comfortable room. Great location in downtown. Food expensive, but, not necessary to eat there. If you are a business traveler this is the place for you!! Very clean bathrooms, comfortable bed, nice furniture. You'll like it!!!
