An enjoyable and comfortable accommodation - posted on 08/29/2006
Thank you to Travelodge. I enjoyed my stay and I found the staff friendly and accomodating. The room and the whole place as a whole was really neat/clean and orderly. Please keep up the good work. Congratulations!
good for a one/two night stay - posted on 01/02/2006
ok when in transit/ long haul You get what you pay for and it was good value for the money in comparison to others in the ares. Clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast- make sure you get a ticket at check-in!!! ASK FOR IT. Also no where to really sit and have breakfast except outside. Also make sure you have a cell phone or change for the phone to call for pick-up from the airport and be QUICK!!!! We rang from the public phone in terminal 2 and by the time we got to the hotel shuttle pick-up point ( a few minutes) the shuttle had already been, not waited, and GONE. We had to phone AGAIN!!!
Well worth the price - posted on 05/15/2007
Stayed here 4 nights with boyfriend, in college so on a budget. Room was clean, shower hot, grounds were much more pleasant than ugly exterior would suggest. Great value. Stop expecting five star amenities out of a two star place. I'd stay here again.
Great place next to LAX - posted on 05/09/2007
This place is very nice and clean. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to LAX. The room was well furnshed and we enjoyed our one night. Next morning hopped on the shuttle and took off for Hawaii. I was sorry we did not stay we were not able to stay there when we returned.

Not elegant and not in a 'cute' neighborhood.... but a great value for the locaton and the service. On those counts, one couldn't ask for better for the money.

It was a dive!! They had a sign on the tv, no food because it will bring ants!! I didn't even shower!! I didn't dare!!!

Hotel is very convenient to the LAX Airport. Lof ot choices on the continental breakfast. Dennys available 24 hr-great since we got in late. Rooms are nicely appointed.
Travelodge LAX -- simply awful - posted on 03/17/2007
I chose this hotel for its proximity to LAX, but immediately regretted my decision. Check-in was slow and the staff disinterested. Our "no-smoking" room reeked of cigarette smoke, but we arrived near midnight and were too tired to request a change. The carpet, bedding and draperies were dingy and hideous, but the sheets appeared to be clean. Didn't stay for the complimentary breakfast... we couldn't wait to get out of there. I would rather have slept on a chair in the airport than in this dump.
pretty good for our purposes - posted on 03/05/2007
Certainly not a destination hotel, but pretty comfortable. There were some repairs going on above our room that prevented afternoon napping, but the hotel was clean and staff were helpful. The garden is beautiful! Continental breakfast is fairly decent. Don't bother with room service, however-- just walk over to Denny's, or you can even walk a couple blocks to a choice of three restaurants at the Marriott.

A nice hotel with nice grounds and pool. Very close to rental car locations. We arrived in LA around midnight, so it was nice to be able to get the rental car and get to the hotel quickly. Personel were friendly and efficient. Surprisingly little noise considering close proximity to airport and Century Blvd.
Not bad at all - posted on 02/09/2007
I was pleasantly please with this hotel. It was clean, atmosphere was friendly and the location was convience to the freeways. No bathtub in my room. Denny's is connected to the hotel, which was great!! I'd stay there again...for the price.
what can you expect for the $$ I paid - posted on 01/16/2007
First I thought the room came with breakfast. But I soon realized it was toast and hardboiled eggs, you should note that its a continental breakfast. I also had a scary alley for a view. I am just glad I didnt have my kids with me.

Hotel need a elevator to bring luggage up to second floor and not so long of a walk to the parking lot. More parking spaces

Not as advertised on the internet. The room is relatively clean, but the breakfast is not as said on internet. The rate is also high.
Would stay here again - posted on 12/20/2006
Keeping in mind this is a travelodge, this is a good place to stay. You have all basic needs met. It is neat and clean, quiet and safe. (Of course you will hear planes--you are near an airport!) Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. (One exception--an older woman in the gift shop was rude when I asked her where the ice machine was on my first night!) But overall I felt very comfortable here. The key question to me is, "Would you stay here again?" Answer: YES.
hotel review - posted on 11/25/2006
rooms need updated, but staff was very courteous and helpful. Plantings and landscaping were most interesting. Rooms were clean. Staff went out of their way to be helpful to visitors. Location to airport excellent, along with local transportation. Good experience.
Great room - posted on 11/02/2006
We thought the room was very nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. I would probably put a better light in the bathroom and put a light in the hall/closet area. Overall, I would stay again and recomment to a friend.
Cool place to stay - posted on 10/13/2006
This was a nice, neat motel for the price. Convenient to airport, and other places. Denny's restautrant on premises. Free parking. Nice staff. My second time staying for a weekend. No problems getting where I needed to go. Can't speak about shuttle service since had my own vehicle. Cool place to stay.
Great Pillows - posted on 10/12/2006
Very clean & comfy room; except smelled musty; comfy bed w/perfect pillows; breakfast not worth the time, Denny's was great; pick up from Alamo was nice, didn;t have to go back to airport; could use more light in bathroom.
Overnight stay only - posted on 09/30/2006
Reasonable price. Filled my need for overnight stay close to airport. Shuttle was great. Did not wait. Apparently runs every 1/2 hour. Drawbacks- Denny's on site was closed for remodeling. Arrived late and really no other choices to eat. Room very outdated. Hard to tell if it was clean as the lighting was so poor. Had to shut off a/c, it was too noisy and couldn't get to sleep. Served my purpose but probably would not stay again.

not fancy, but the grounds are cool ! lots of greenery/palms. Place is way bigger than it looks from the road. Quiet
Low-Cost LAX hotel - posted on 07/12/2006
Had to stay overnight with LAX connections. Room and bed were OK. TV: 30 channels of cable. Bathroom nice. Free breakfast was roll, coffee, cold cereal - limited by what you could carry in one trip. Shuttle driver missed my stop at LAX in morning, then yelled at me for it being my fault.
One night in Travelodge - posted on 07/08/2006
My stay in this hotel was O.K. Staff was friendly, helpful. Shuttle arrived quickly to the Airport (5 minutes after I called them) I choose a smoking room and it didn't smell bad (very positive) They offer free breakfast (actually I didn't use this, so cannot comment on it) Overall I would stay here again for a night or two.
Good for the money - posted on 06/22/2006
If you're in town for a night or two, and can put up with less-than-pristine conditions, this place is awesome. Definitely worth the low price you pay.
Not up to standard - posted on 05/10/2006
I asked for a king and got two double beds, the noise from the street was extremely bad all night, the only good thing was the location for the event I was attending...for the money spent I would have been better off spending $60 more and getting a good nights sleep
BEST LAX VALUE - posted on 04/16/2006
Free breakfast and free wifi make this a Hotel at Motel prices. Denny's 24 hr family dining is a big plus since we came in late at night and were hungry. VALUE, VALUE, VALUE
Enjoyed my stay - posted on 03/05/2006
I stayed there for 5 weeks & the next time I'm in Los Angeles I'll be staying there again. The service, staff & location were ok. The hotel was gated security, & there were always security guards on place. Thanx everybody there, I enjoyed myself.
Ok experience... - posted on 02/24/2006
Not sure if it is in Inglewood or not, but if it's not, it is only a couple blocks away. Kinda scary!Their parking was lacking as we had to share parking with a Denny's restaurant and had to walk quite a ways to the room. The clerk working that night when we signed in was verging on rude. She certainly did nothing to make us feel welcome, but more of an inconvenience. We give it an all-around 3 out of 5 for value, cleanliness, friendliness, location, and convenience for using LAX. Would not recommend it for any other reason whatsoever.
Convenient Location - posted on 02/18/2006
This hotel is very close to the airport and has free and frequent shuttle service. We didn't like the unhelpful front-desk clerk, but we did like the spacious room.

This hotel is located very close to the airport and they will send a shuttle bus to collect you from the terminal. It is ideal for a short stay ex: overnighting. It is also pretty good value.
My experience... - posted on 09/20/2005
I was in this hotel 5 years ago (it had a different name then). It has imporvede since then. The registering at the front desk went very smotthly and very quick (the personnel weren't too friendly but they were competent). The room was baisc but clean and it seemed safe (the LAX area isn't known to be a very safe place to be in). Two Dial up Internet PCs (fast dial up) in the lobby area was a plus. It was convenient having Denny's right outside the entrance. The price was reasonable for the LAX area.

i was looking everywhere for a room, i gfound this. The front desk is nice, the lady was nice in assisting me to my room. i had a nice view from my room. the rooms were clean and the beds were good. i asked a fridge, and it was brought up quickly, the bathrooms were nice and clean, the only thing was the parking, i had to make a whole block around to get to the parking. i would go here again. the dennys was there, and the major freeways nearby.

We stayed 1 night. Room was clean but noisy and our air never cooled to our satisfaction. Nice pool area. Great shuttle service. 1 mile from LAX. Not bad for the price.
Decent - posted on 06/20/2005
Good location with free shuttle to airport. Allow pets for only $10 extra per night. Decent breakfast offered. Only problems were ants & noise. At least they posted a sign in the room warning about the ants and requesting you not leave food out. Also, there was a gap in the air conditioning unit which let in all the noise from the street...trucks could be heard all night.

This somewhat age-worn but comfortable hotel is close to LAX and the convention hotels around it, but at a far more reasonable price than the host hotels for meetings. The staff was cheerful and efficient. Parking was convenient, if basic. Free high speed wireless internet access and a couch in the spacious room meant it was easy to keep up on business between conference sessions. I'd stay here again for LAX area meetings.
Clean but funky - posted on 03/23/2005
I stayed here before, try to get a balcony room. My room was large, clean but had a funky smell, not real bad though. the grounds are very nice, Denny's is OK for breakfast, but scary late. the staff is nice, the shuttle is great and you can walk to rental cars. Good deal for the price, and LAX location is good. Area seems safe enough too.

Needed place to stay due to early flight. Great staff, unexpectedly the free breakfast bar had many more items than I expected. Pricing was great
