Former guests declare ... this hotel is a winner for people with business at the Convention Center. It's a quick elevator-ride away, but still has the amenities to provide some relief at the end of the day. It's near enough local attractions and affordable, digestible dining options as well. Rooms with even numbers are rumored to have the best views, and of those, the Harbor View rooms are the brightest. Everyone else should stay away. This hotel is not family or vacationer friendly. The pool and fitness areas can be crowded, the coffee bar closes unreasonably early, and there have been issues with check-outs and incorrect billing. From 405 take the Downtown Long Beach/Convention Center exit, followed by the sign for Aquarium/Convention Center/ Pine Avenue. You should reach the turn for Pine Avenue at the 4th stoplight. Take a left, and continue on to Shoreline Drive.
