The hotel was well kept and in a Downtown location. The service staff was friendly and very helpful, gave good directions to my next destination, and gave me complimentary toothpaste as I forgot mine. The hotel was cleaning, but a little noisy (people) till late at night, or longer.

Convenient, met my needs for an overnight stay. Good parking.

The hair dryer was broken and did not work.

Would recommend for one night stay, its close to Downtown Long Beach and Ocean Blvd. we traveled to Long Beach for a wedding so they price and the location were perfect. Room was clean and spacious.

We had a good experience and the room was nice and comfy.

They don't have an in house restaurant or continental breakfast.

The 134-room Holiday Inn Long Beach Downtown is just minutes from the Long Beach Convention Center and provides affordable accommodation for both business travelers and the vacationer. Items included with the room rate at this four-story full service hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a shuttle to nearby attractions, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are three meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 60 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the California beaches, several golf courses, Long Beach Arena, Long Beach Performing Arts Center, Pine Avenue, The Pike, Shoreline Village, the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary and Port of Los Angeles.

This hotel may not be in the best location but we give it the YES rating since many guests were pleased with the spacious, clean rooms and courteous and efficient service they received from the team of hard working employees. The hotel does provide a courtesy shuttle within a three-mile radius of the property which enabled clients to reach many nearby attractions. Several visitors said they would pay a little more next time for a hotel in a better neighborhood while others said they would stay here again and enjoy the lower prices.
