The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott la Mirada-Buena Park comprises 147 suites designed for the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. Each of the suites at this two-story, non-smoking hotel has a fully equipped kitchen, living room and separate sleeping area. Items included with the room rate a hot breakfast buffet, a managers reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is in the heart of Southern California within in driving distance of the beaches, mountains, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Sea World and the Anaheim Convention Center. Many guests who stayed at this hotel were impressed with the spacious suites and said it more like an apartment complex than a hotel. Families here to visit Disneyland said the property was an ideal base and the fully equipped kitchens provided home cooked meals which saved on some restaurant bills. Tip from those who have stayed here: Get a suite at the back of the property away from the traffic noise. The employees provided friendly and efficient service and the rates were reasonable if you took advantage of all the items that were included with the room rate.
