Customer Reviews for Marriott Irvine

Irvine Marriott, Friday May 11 & Sat May 12 - posted on 05/18/2007

We were very pleased with the entire experience at the hotel. We were there for a large gathering put on by the Literary Guild of Orange County and everything was very pleasant. the bars closed a tad early for us but we arrived rather late! And thank you for having comfortable beds and feather pillows!

Great for Families! - posted on 01/18/2007

It is sometimes difficult to travel with young children, but they went out of their way to give us a great room and anything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. And Starbucks on site was a Life Saver!

Great time - posted on 08/15/2006

We stayed here and had a great time. The beds are wonderful. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is close to the 405 freeway, and we couldn't hear any noise at night, but our room was located on the opposite side of the hotel from the freeway. The pool and hot tub facilities were nice.

pleasant place - posted on 06/25/2006

Hotel meets Marriott expectations. Staff was VERY friendly, the elevators were the fastest ever, never had to wait more than a minute(9th floor) Champions had the usual fare, burgers etc, decent prices.Pool and hot tub were good. Room was clean and large enough. Beds were SOFT, not great for my back but kids loved them. For some reason the curtains didnt close all the way letting sunlight in. 12 bucks a day to park was a joke, and if you dont have a car there is nothing in walking distance. But all in all a very good experience.

Pleasant stay - posted on 05/27/2006

From the moment I walked in, I was treated very well. The young lady at the front desk answered all of my questions before I could even ask them. I was greeted in a friendly manner by all of the employees that I happened to walk past....everyone seemed to go out of their way to make me feel at home.

Quick weekend getaway - posted on 02/09/2006

My wife and I stayed here on our first trip to California. We were very pleased with the hotel. The staff made certain to go the extra mile, no matter what we asked for. We did have one request that the staff forgot about. They were very apoligetic, and quickly saw that the request was taken care of.

MY FAVORITE HOTEL - posted on 11/08/2005

The MARRIOTT Beds are absolutely heavenly! They are better than Westin, Hilton, & Hyatt. I want one of my own! Many food choices in the hotel - Great Sushi, Pizza Hut, Great Starbucks, and Sports Bar. Staff & Room Service are outstanding. Room layout is nice - enough seating for more than 2 people. Pool area is cool w/ music in the indoor/outdoor pool. Gym facilities are state of the art.

This is an old Marriott. It is overpriced and out of date decor. They even charge you for a cocktail in the conceirge level lounge - very cheap!!

GREAT STAY!!! - posted on 07/05/2005

This was by far one of the best hotel experiences my husband and I have had in a long time. Initially we were a little skeptical because of the low rates. I had spent about a week and half researching a good deal for the money for a room. The room was beautiful and the customer service was excellent! Had extra pillows in our room, bathroom was emaculate! We'll be staying here again, and will glady recommend to family and friends! GREAT JOB MARRIOTT!

Loved It - posted on 12/14/2004

Wonderful staff and hotel. Located only a few miles from Balboa Island and Disneyland. Pool was beautiful and so was our room. Parking was 8$ a night though. Everything else was fantastic

VERY HAPPY - posted on 12/07/2004

i was happy because i got a very fair deal on the price of the hotel and it was rated only three stars...there was a starbuck, sushi bar, 2 other restaurants, kinko etc...the staff was very nice, rooms were decorated nicely or at least the one i got has super plus beds with down pillow and comforter
