Located in the heart of Irvine, the Irvine Marriott is a 17-storey hotel with modern open spaces wash in bright colors. The non-smoking hotel offers various dining options from Mediterranean and Californian cuisine at Elements 102, to American bites at Champions Sports Bar/Restaurant, and Japanese at the Sushi Bar. Coffee lovers will find a Starbucks Coffee outlet on-site, while the Martini & Wine Bar is an ideal place for ending the day with some alcoholic beverages. The hotel is close to the well-known Orange County beaches as well as several golf courses. Other attractions include the star shaped, glass walled Crystal Cathedral, and Orange County’s longest expanse of undeveloped coastline at the Crystal Cove State Park eight miles away; the General Phineas Banning Residence Museum, which is a 25-room Greek Revival mansion, 25 miles away; and the Wayfarers Chapel, the best known work by Lloyd Wright (son of Frank Lloyd Wright) 30.5 miles away.

This hotel is more suited for business travelers, as there are few leisure facilities in its vicinity. Light sleepers should note that noise from the adjacent 405 freeway may disturb sleep at night. Rooms are clean, comfortable and modern, and hotel staffs are friendly. Driving from Orange County/John Wayne Airport (SNA): Head straight across MacArthur Street to Michelson. Keep left on Von Karman Avenue. The hotel is on right.
Driving from Long Beach Airport (LGB) or Los Angeles Airport (LAX): Take 405 South, exit Jamboree and turn right. Turn right on Michelson, take another right on Von Karman, followed by a right on Quartz then turn left in to the hotel.
