As above, staff extremely friendly/courteous as ALL hospitality staff should be. Great hotel, but in this price range, valet parking should be a choice. Not a mandate. Could not use hot tub several times because there were children/too many people using it. Even though I paid full price for my room X 5 nights.

Proximity to ocean.

Nickel/dimmed us on everything. Hotel is costly enough. Do not have any option for parking other than a $22 +tax/day is ridiculous.

When visiting the heart of Huntington Beach, the Hilton Beach Resort is the place to stay. Close to the pier, across the street from the beach, and an excellent array of eateries, makes this a great place to stay. The resort is well-kept and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort is an excellent choice for those who want four star amenities as well as a multitude of options within walking distance. Have a massage, relax with a cocktail poolside, rent a bike and tour the downtown area or go for a ride on the bike trail on the beach. Have a meal at one of several fine and casual dining restaurants at the resort, or walk across the street for a beach burger. Dozens of restaurants, bars and shops as well as the world famous pier are just 3 blocks away.

The resort offers a choice of standard rooms as well as several different types of suites that offer an extended furnished balcony with panoramic ocean views. Premium amenities are included in all rooms, while suites have the option of upgraded amenities. The concierge level offers a private lounge with complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the day.

Amenities offered

Those who wish to stay within the resort can play tennis, volleyball, swim or jacuzzi, or work out in the fitness center. My personal favorite is a facial at their wonderful spa followed by a massage under the warm California sun. Want to explore? Rent a bike or stroller and take off for the day.
