The location looks like not the best area of town and the exterior of the hotel looked a little seedy, but the lobby was beautiful, the breakfast was nice and the amenities in the room was a pleasant surprise i.e. coffee, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and a small fridge.The beds were hard and they balked about sending up three extra pillows, but did relent and send them after my husband said they were for my sore back. The kids enjoyed the pool. I'd stay there again. Can't beat the price!

I was impressed by the hotel staff's service and willingness to make our stay a good one, however language barriers prevented smooth communication, which was overcome!

Free shuttle service to Disneyland & staff worked hard to make stay pleasant

Hard to communicate with staff as they all had thick Oriental accents

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. I saw one of the housekeeping attendants cleaning the room next to ours and she was down on her hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor. You could tell they really cleaned their rooms not just vacuum and fix the beds. Great hotel.

Super clean and nice.

It's kind of far from Disneyland.

Conveniently located 5 miles from Disneyland, the Ramada Plaza Hotel (Anaheim Area) is almost always packed. The hotel was built in 1990 but it does not look tired or rundown. Much like when it first opened, it still has a good reputation when it comes to affordable accommodations. With 116 rooms on 4 floors on a simple-looking structure, the plaza hotel stands proudly on Garden Grove Boulevard. Do not be fooled by the simplicity of the structure though because inside, you will see marble floors and tastefully designed spaces. The hotel has an outdoor pool surrounded by plants native to the area.
