Hotel was OK. Nothing really great about it.

Close to shopping.

Expensive parking even as a hotel guest, Bad View was of a roof top.

Great location: close to 405 Freeway, tons of restaurants, shopping @ South Coast Plaza, short ride to the beach. Nice large rooms with big closet. Restaurant and day spa on site. Lots of meeting & banquet space. The convenience of the location was the best thing.

Great location right off the 405 freeway. Convenient to everything.

Hallways & elevators were warm - not well air-conditioned.

I got a good price on but the hotel got even with me by assigning me to a 2nd floor room with a small window that looked out on a roof. No view. Then, everything was pricey. Extra fees to connect to the Internet. Fees AND a 20% charge for room service AND then the waiter hoped for a tip. I was uncomfortable the whole time. In contrast, on the next leg of my trip, I stayed at the Hyatt in Beverly Hills. 12th floor, balcony with sliding glass door that looked out on the pool and grounds. It was wonderful. To be fair, not all of the Hyatt's rooms have that view. I just happened to get fortunate. It was wonderful.

Clean, comfortable.

Pricey. Too many extra charges that are too high. It was annoying.

Costa Mesa is in the heart of Orange County, giving visitors a selection of world class shopping, dining and beaches. Should visitors choose to fly into John Wayne Airport they will find that they are five minutes from the hotel. LAX and San Diego are an hours drive away. South Coast Plaza, five minutes down Bristol offers a choice of designer shops, familiar names such as Nordstroms, Bloomingdales and Macy's along with favorites such as Abercrombie and Fitch and the Gap. Orange County's beautiful coastline with miles of beautiful beaches is a short drive. Visitors can enjoy tidalpools and crashing waves great for surfing. Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm are two of the OC's better known parks. For those that want to see the movies come to life, Universal Studios is down the freeway.

This non-smoking hotel offers guest quick access to the airport, shops and restaurants. There are many fine dining and casual restaurants within minutes of the hotel. Hotel guest rooms have been recently renovate. Crabtree and Evelyn amenities are in all bathrooms.

The newspaper is delivered to rooms weekdays. For those hoping to get in a workout, there is a fitness room and pool.

Guests love the hotel's location-it is right off the 405 freeway and just a few minutes from South Coast Plaza. However the downside is that guest are billed for everything, from internet service to $16 daily parking. Rooms were clean and most guests would stay here again.
