Felt like home away from home. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Happy hour offered but did not get a chance to test it out. Certainly will next time.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Costa Mesa comprises 144 suites designed for the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. Each of the suites at this two-story, non-smoking hotel have a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, managers reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for social or business meetings. Area attractions and landmarks include eight golf courses, the Orange County Performing Arts Center, the County Fairgrounds and Marketplace, Newport Beach, pier and harbor, Balboa Island and Fun Zone, Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, Disneyland, California Adventure, Downtown Disney, Knott's Berry Farm and Universal Studios.

Visitors to Costa Mesa enjoyed their stay in this Residence Inn. The location is great, near some of the finest shopping in California, good restaurants and easy to get to the area attractions. Several clients noted this was an older property but it was well maintained and the suites were spacious, clean and comfortable. The employees were praised for being prompt and polite and most travelers said they would use this hotel on future visits to the area.
