Very friendly atmosphere, extremely comfortable bed. The grounds were lovely and they had beautiful music playing poolside. Clean and well appointed. Would recommend this facility to my friends. Loved it! It had everything.

Great bed, very comfortable.

Though pool area was lovely the actual pool could have been cleaner.

Marriott Costa Mesa is the perfect hotel when visiting the Orange County area. For those that love to shop, world class shopping with designer names such as Cartier, Gucci and Ferragamo are minutes away at South Coast Plaza. Anchored by Bloomingdales, Saks and Nordstroms the mall is a short walk from the hotel. Families with children will find they just a short 15 minute drive from Disnelyland and Knott's Berry Farm. Universal Studios and Lego Land are about 45 minutes away. The area has miles of beautiful beaches, which are great for surfing, searching through the tidepools or just relaxing and catching a tan. There are many fine restaurants offering a casual or more sophisticated dining experience both within walking distance or a short drive from the hotel.

Shopping, dining and a choice of spas are all within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel provides jogging maps for those that want to get in a run and paths are nearby. John Wayne airport is about 5 minutes from the hotel.

All rooms are spacious and comfortable with a fridge and microwave and coffee maker in the room. Room service is also available from the hotel restaurant, Hemingways which serves American cuisine. The hotel is very comfortable. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is friendly. I have had a friend stay here and spent time at the pool, which is quiet with lounge chairs and plenty of towels. My only complaint about Marriott's is you pay for everything-parking is $15 a night and internet is an additional $13 a day.
