The ambiance/landscaping of the grounds are great with many rooms having direct access to the courtyard and pool area. This is an older hotel that has done some updating. The best feature is that it is exceptionally clean. If you have back problems, be sure to request a room with a firm mattress. Most rooms have soft mattresses.

The location was great and the bathroom was nicely updated.

Heating/air conditioning unit was noisy.

The property is very convenient to the city and Marin county attractions and numerous shopping opportunities. The hotel staff is comprised of very friendly individuals that keep this place clean and quiet all the time. The accommodations are inviting as they offer plentiful space to move around and are maintained very cleanly and feature top-notch bedding. The pool area is also appealing and spacious and kids have plenty space to play around in the playground areas. The free breakfast offers an enticing selection of both hot and cold morning favorites.
