Carlsbad is the perfect beachside town with plenty of fun activities for everyone. For those that love to soak up the suns's rays, there are miles of beach where you can surf, splash about in the waves or walk along the shore. The hotel is two miles from the beach. Outlet shopping is a five minute drive, with stores such as The Gap, Crate and Barrel and Bananna Republic. There are plenty of quaint beachside shops both in Carlsbad and the surrounding towns. The town has plenty of dining options ranging from casual to fine dining. Downtown San Diego is only twenty minutes away. Of course no trip is complete without a visit to the world famous San Diego Zoo and Sea World. Legoland offers lots of fun for smaller children. Old World San Diego is the perfect place to visit a mission and enjoy a margarita. The Del Mar Track offers guests the chance to try their luck on the horses.

Hotel is perfectly located next to Legoland and very central for all of San Diego's activities. The resort offers plenty for everyone, from children's club, to ice cream socials, basketball courts and more. The rooms are slightly on the small size and do not have work stations-however overall it is a clean and quiet hotel. Read our customer reviews?

Grand Pacific Palisades Resort Accommodations

The hotel is perched high on a cliff offering guests a beautiful view of the sparkling blue pacific Ocean. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped. Guests can enjoy an early morning or evening stroll around the hotel property. Located directly adjacent to Legoland the hotel has plenty of activities for children and adults.

This hotel knows how to spoil its guests. The hotel has a selection of 90 spacious guest rooms many offering a gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. Guests can enjoy a massage therapy within the privacy of their room. An Olympic sized pool is open for adults only. The family pool has a water play area, that is perfect to enjoy under the California sun. The fitness center is ideal for getting in shape. There is also a clubhouse with plenty of fun, including video and arcade games. Karl Straus restaurant is on site and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The guest rooms offer a choice of a king sized or double beds. The rooms have been beautifully decorated and have complimentary internet access. The newspaper is delivered daily to hotel rooms. Car rental is available on the premises.

From Orange County or Los Angeles: Take I-5 South to Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad and turn Left. Turn Left on Armada Drive and then Left again into Grand Pacific Palisades Resort & Hotel. From Arizona: I-10 West to I-15 South. Drive west on Route 78. Continue south on I-5 to Palomar Airport Road. If traveling from Yuma and Southern Arizona, take Route 8 West to Interstate 5 North. Turn east onto Palomar Airport Road. From Nevada: Interstate I-15 South to Route 78 West. Continue south on Interstate 5 to Palomar Airport Road
