The hotel is tattered, large irregularity in the bedroom floor under the carpet.

Upon arrival everyone at the front door greeted us with a smile and very helpful. The service was great it made up for all the remodeling in the hotel. The room service was wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate the sweet life of child and myself. The indoor swimming pool was a perfect temperature and the Jacuzzi and gym were clean and perfect. I would recommend this Marriott. San Francisco airport to any business person or friend with small children.

The room service was delightful.

The bedding in room kept slipping off, on the side of the window, there was no hanky panky; just a regular sleep material.

Very clean and comfortable with nice restaurants within walking distance.

The beds were the most comfortable than anywhere else that we have stayed.

Parking is expensive.

The Marriott San Francisco Airport has completed a $7 million renovation of its 685 guest rooms and 21 suites and added a full-service Starbucks store the only one in the area - which is open from 4.30am until 6.30pm. Other dining choices and leisure facilities make this an ideal place for businessmen or vacationers. The hotel operates a complimentary 24-hour shuttle to and from the airport and also to the BART train station. Popular tours operated from the hotel are to Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge Bay cruise, San Francisco city tour and the city trolley tour.

Not everyone was enthralled with this hotel. Many said they expected more from a Marriott. Some former clients were delighted with their rooms others said they were too small and not well maintained. Everybody liked the lobby and many said they would stay here again. Tip from former visitors: Weekend rates tend to be a lot lower if you want to get away for a couple of nights and not spend too much money. And try and get a room overlooking The Bay,
