About the Marriott San Francisco Airport

The Marriott San Francisco Airport has completed a $7 million renovation of its 685 guest rooms and 21 suites and added a full-service Starbucks store – the only one in the area - which is open from 4.30am until 6.30pm. Other dining choices and leisure facilities make this an ideal place for businessmen or vacationers. The hotel operates a complimentary 24-hour shuttle to and from the airport and also to the BART train station. Popular tours operated from the hotel are to Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge Bay cruise, San Francisco city tour and the city trolley tour.

Not everyone was enthralled with this hotel. Many said they expected more from a Marriott. Some former clients were delighted with their rooms others said they were too small and not well maintained. Everybody liked the lobby and many said they would stay here again. Tip from former visitors: Weekend rates tend to be a lot lower if you want to get away for a couple of nights and not spend too much money. Marriott San Francisco Airport Accommodations

The newly renovated rooms – many with views of the bay – have a work desk with Internet access, coffee maker, cable TV with movie channels and pay-per view movies, hairdryer and wet bar. There is no charge for local phone calls. Room service is available from 6am until midnight.

Dining options include Allie's American Grille offering American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the View Lounge open for lunch and dinner. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and 24-hour fitness center. There is a gift show, shoeshine stand, ATM and coin laundry on-site and the front desk has safe deposit boxes and offers currency exchange and has details of nearby beauty salons.

From San Francisco Airport: (1.0 mi S) As you exit the airport take Highway 101 South towards San Jose. Exit from Highway 101 at first exit, Millbrae Ave. East bound. Follow Millbrae Ave eastbound towards the bay which will end at Old Bayshore Highway. Turn right on Old Bayshore Highway. Hotel is located 1/4 mile down Old Bayshore Highway on the left hand side. From San Jose Airport: (32.6 mi N) Airport parkway to Highway 87 (Guadelupe Parkway) north, towards Highway 101 North. Continue north to Millbrae exit. Go east towards the bay, turn right onto Old Bayshore Highway. Hotel in front on left hand side.
