An impressive and upmarket airport hotel, the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport has 789 rooms and is located on San Francisco Bay - between downtown San Francisco and the technology corridor of Silicon Valley. The dramatic atrium of this nine story hotel has cascading waterfalls and water channels amid a park-like atmosphere with over 2,000 flowers and plants. The property operates a free shuttle 24/7 to and from the airport and to a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station. The hotel is the largest airport convention hotel in Northern California with exhibit areas, meeting rooms and the 18,148 square-foot Grand Peninsula Ballroom. There are numerous beaches within a 20-minutes drive of the hotel and several golf courses nearby.

On the plus side former visitors said the happy shuttle drivers made you feel welcome, the hotel staff was efficient and the bathrooms were spacious and modern. .Complainers said food prices were high and soundproofing between some of the rooms needed to be improved. From San Francisco International Airport (2 miles): Take 101 South. Exit Millbrae Ave. East. Turn right at stoplight onto Bayshore Hwy. Proceed through four stoplights. The hotel is on the right. From Oakland Airport (approximately 30 miles) and Points East: Take I-880 South toward San Jose. Merge onto CA-92 W toward San Mateo Br. Merge onto US-101 N toward San Francisco to the Broadway Exit. Take the Airport Blvd ramp toward Bayshore Blvd, then turn left onto Bayshore Hwy to the hotel. From San Jose Airport (approximately 30 miles) and Points South:Take 101 North to the Broadway Exit. Take the Airport Blvd ramp toward Bayshore Blvd, then turn left onto Bayshore Hwy to the hotel. From Points North: Take 101 South to the Broadway Exit, toward Burlingame. Take the ramp toward the overpass, then turn right onto Rollins Rd. Make a slight right onto Broadway, then turn left onto Bayshore Hwy to the hotel.
