The full kitchen, breakfast bar, desk with internet connection and wardrobe with organizer shelves were all a pleasant surprise. I'm sorry we only planned one night there.

Excellent room, quiet air conditioning, Fabulous free breakfast!

Very convenient, clean, and full featured.

Features - kitchen, internet, couch, very clean, near restaurants and freeways.

Internet was great, but wish it was wireless. The mattress was a bit too soft.

One of the best places in Bakersfield, for the price. Easy access from freeway 99 and close to highway 58. Ice-maker in the refrigerator was a nice touch. Both tea and coffee available in room - great! Outdoor spaces include barbecues near the pool - wow!

The room was luxuriously appointed.

No elevator to the second floor.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Bakersfield comprises 114 suites equally suitable for the business traveler or families on vacation. Each suite has a fully equipped kitchen and separate sleeping and living areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a managers reception on Monday through Thursday nights, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The two-story, non-smoking hotel has one meeting room available for social functions than can accommodate 39 guests. Nearby attractions include fishing or white water rafting in the Kern River or Lake Buena Vista, the Buck Owens Crystal Palace, Mesa Marin Raceway, Bakersfield Museum of Art and the California Living Museum.

This Residence Inn gets many repeat clients, which is a great recommendation. They appreciate the spacious, clean comfortable suite accommodation and friendly and efficient employees. Several guests enjoyed relaxing in the pool or spa after a day of sightseeing or shopping. There were complaints from light sleepers that the hotel is close to the railroad tracks and trains operate throughout the night. Regulars here say it does not bother them and they will continue to stay at this hotel.
