Located near many eating choices, but also in a quiet setting, nice amenities in room and on site, would be a comfortable place for a several day stay.

The amenities of fridge, micro, and breakfast gave me more choices for my personal diet.

Difficulty using the door card because the handle was not fitting properly.

The room was adequate and the staff was helpful as far as giving me useful information. They had a computer into he lobby with online access which was very helpful for us. The pool and spa water were not clean however which was a disappointment.

The pet-friendly Comfort Inn Central is near Auburns Thunder Valley Casino and comprises 80 rooms equally suitable for families on vacation or the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story hotel are a continental breakfast with a waffle station, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. The property is located 30 miles from Sacramento with easy access from local freeways. Auburn is one of Californias earliest mining town and several guests who stayed at the Comfort Inn thought they had hit it rich when they stayed here. They thought the rates reasonable, the rooms well-equipped and comfortable, and the efficient team of workers was both friendly and helpful. There were some minor moans that some rooms were in need of updating. Despite this most guests said they would stay here again and had no problem recommending the property to fellow travelers.
