This hotel was very clean. Friendly but suggested you use the same towels for 3 days to conserve water. Although if you did not want to conserve water you could hang something on the door to have your towels changed. I prefer the Marriott hotels to the holiday inn. The beds are not as soft as the Marriott either.

The pet-friendly Holiday Inn Auburn is located in the foothills of the Sierra Mountain and comprises 96 rooms designed for both the business and pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story, full-service hotel are high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 130 guests. The property has easy access to Interstate 80 and is close to the towns of Sutter's Mill, Grass Valley, and Placerville. Other area landmarks and attractions include the American River Canyon, the Auburn State Recreation Area, Old Town Auburn, the Ridge Golf Club and Events Center and shopping at Galleria Mall and Sutter Mall.

Quiet and comfortable rooms and a professional team of employees were among the good things that visitors to Auburn remember about their stay at this Holiday Inn. Several guests said the rates were reasonable and the entire property was of a much higher standard than they had expected. The location was close to the expressway but clients said they had no problem with traffic noise and said they would certainly stay at this hotel on future visits to the area.
