Customer Reviews for Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland Resort

Very clean hotel - posted on 01/04/2006

The hotel was very clean. The service is very good. What I like the most is the chair sleeper for my child. The part that I hated the most was no free internet access. I went online to book some tickets& to book a hotel room for another stay at another city, it cost me around $16.00. The minimum charge of $3.00 was misleading, evenbefore you start to use, you already pay $3.00 upfront. Other than that, the stay was pleasant and I would recommend this hotel to other tourist who wants to visit Disneyland cause its almost across from the main entrance to Disneyland.

Would stay here again - posted on 03/17/2007

Just got back! Great place to stay if you plan to hit Disney! Short walk to the park and I mean a short walk! McDonalds in the parking lot as well as Millie's! Ate at Millie's twice and was not disappointed! Pizza Hut on site was a bonus! Forget IHOP too expensive! Beds were comfortable with a good size room. Fridge in the room was a bonus as well. Ran to Wal-Mart and bought soda which we kept cold in the fridge. Soda machines at hotel $2 per 12oz bottle!!!! Location and comfortable room were most important part of our trip though!

Wonderful Experience - posted on 03/13/2007

I was somewhat leary about booking this facility based on some on the negative comments. I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The staffs were friendly, informative and helpful. The room was very nice, and the beds were so comfortable. I will definitely book this facility again in the future.

Okay for a last resort - posted on 12/13/2006

This hotel was nothing to write home about. When we drove up I though, "wow, this looks like a really nice place." But I was wrong. There is limited parking, the room smelled extreamily musty and was very humid inside. Luckily the staff was very good. Overall I would only choose this hotel as a last resort. I don't plan to say here again.

Disney Vacation - posted on 12/01/2006

Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Employees went out of their way to help and were kind, courteous and professional at all times. Millie's has incredible food and less than a minute walk. It's only a 10 minute walk to Disneyland but after 12 hours walking around it would have been nice to take a shuttle back to the hotel. There is only one early morning shuttle from the hotel and only one shuttle back at 12:30 a.m. After all that walking that 10 minutes back seemed forever. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we would stay here again.

First night went to bed only to hear what sounded like people trying to get into room. Finally, after 45 minutes, employee knocks on door. He asks for last name, computer shows room vacant! Never in my life! Comped room and extra pkg pass to compensate!

Great Location - posted on 10/28/2006

The Fairfield was a good deal for the price. Nothing fancy but nice enough. The location is great, the walk to the main gate was shorter than when we stayed at the disneyland resort. The elevators were the only problem. My husband waited 20 minutes with the luggage cart for an elevator. Otherwise great visit!

Awesome time. - posted on 10/20/2006

Love the layout and location. We have stayed here many times over the years. Rooms are cozy and comfortable, though we spend most of our time accross the street in the house of the big mouse! Restaurant and Mc'Ds on premise an added bonus. Highly recommend!

great location - free parking and EASY walk to Disneyland. Rooms definitely need updating with particular attention paid to bathrooms.

Great hotel, but.... - posted on 08/16/2006

beware if you have to park a car here... the first night I probably circled the hotel 10 times before an employee offered to give up his space for me... the rest of the trip I was scared to leave my parking space... it wasn't too bad during the day, only at night after all the check-ins came... but still a great hotel... only 5-10 minute walk to Disneyland!!

unfriendly front staff - posted on 07/07/2006

We stay at Fairfields often and us usually have a great stay. At this hotel, the staff was rude or too busy talking to coworkers to help. The internet was not working well and we had to use a rotar. This is a large property and they only had 4 luggage carts.

Pleasant - posted on 07/06/2006

Was clean and very close to the park. We walked with a 4 year old and was fine! Service for us was great. Bed was comfortable. Nothing fancy, but a very pleasant stay. Good view of fireworks.

It only hurts for the first few minutes - posted on 05/18/2006

From the moment we arrived we had problems with the front desk staff. Every request seemed to be too much trouble, and thier atitude was an absolute disgrace. Other then that the rooms are very spacious and clean and the hotel very close to the entrance of Disnayland. Overall once you get past the delema of reception I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

Great hotel for the money! - posted on 05/15/2006

We just got back 2 weeks ago and would return in a heartbeat! The location was fabulous! Clean rooms, FREE internet! Walk next door to MIMI'S for great food & large portions, which you can put in the mini fridge in your room!

awesome bed - posted on 02/23/2006

the location was incredible, the price was reasonable, the beds were awesome (relative to other hotels in recent memory), the staff was really nice. The room was completely uninspired at best and the bathroom was way dinky, but due in large part to the best parts, I'd book it again in a heartbeat.

Happy Days - posted on 02/08/2006

I have stayed @ this hotel on many occasions and wouldn't be anywhere else. The walk to D-Land is short and the firework views are awesome. It's great for teenagers that want to be away but not to far away from the park and the service is fast and helpful.

Fairfield Inn was great!! - posted on 10/26/2005

We just returned from a great experience at the Fairfield, great staff and smiling faces and clean rooms with good space for our family of 5. We stayed 11 nights and the beds were comfy, we found the room quiet and the view from the 7th floor of the fireworks was awesome. it is not necessary to have a room facing the park as you can walk to the best view on each balcony. Our kids are 10, 9 and 7 and they loved the time we were there. Millie's restaurant wasn't our cup of tea, but there were great restaurants down the street. Very short walk to Disneyland.

Great for Disneyland - posted on 10/11/2005

This is a great place to stay if you are going to the parks. It is easy walking distance even for a five year old. It was nice and clean but basic. A little loud with families but had great views of the fireworks and awesome, comfy beds. We would definitely stay here when on a budget again. One thing, don't bother to get the sleeper sofa - it is actually a pullout from a chair - it was even too narrow for our two year old. The only good thing is you get the chair and a larger room - so that way it was good. Don't expect anybody to actually sleep on it though.

Great deal - posted on 06/18/2005

This hotel was very close to Disneyland, and within walking distance. It was close enought to take the kids back to the hotel for a much need nap in the afternoons and there was still time to go back to the park. Also the fireworks were visable from the hotel balconies. I would stay at this hotel the next time I visit.

Indifferent service, lousy plumbing - posted on 04/16/2005

They changed our room lock without notice, told us our sink was bad, then gave us the option of a full day with no sink or a room three floors from the 20 kids we were chaperoning. Front desk was rude and unapologetic and had no comprehension of why this was unacceptable. At least six toilets in our 30 rooms stopped up. Fifteen to twenty minute waits for elevators at peak times. Maintenance makes unannounced visits at odd hours. Thin walls, high noise levels.

Great place - posted on 03/04/2005

WOW! We trusted the reviews that were posted and we were thrilled. Our room was clean, beds comfortable, the staff was super friendly, especially the guy wearing the disney lanyard, greeting the kids.We would definitely stay again. When they say they're walking distance to disneyland they're telling the truth.

Good value - posted on 12/27/2004

Great location and housekeeping kept our rooms spotless! Pool and hot-tub were sparkling clean. Only negative aspect is the noise level. Children ran up and down the outside corridor at all hours, and we could easily hear the rooms above and below us. Overall, we would stay again, but this is not a hotel you can sleep in at.

Just Okay - posted on 12/21/2004

Hotel was okay, price and housekeeping a plus. Maybe we were just unlucky, but the noise from people walking by the room in the corrider and the noise from the rooms next to us were not worth the cheap rate. Hard to enjoy vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth when you are awoken each morning by screaming infants in the surrounding rooms and kids running back and forth outside your room. I would not stay here again, it is worth the money to us to stay where it is more quiet. The housekeeping in this hotel should be recognized as outstanding.
