Just stayed at this hotel at the end of May-June. I was primarily attracted to it due to the response from other travelers regarding the location and was not disappointed. Location is phenomenal. Literally, once you're out of the building, a 7 min walk and youre at the front plaza deciding which Disney Park you want to enter. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in LA and driving: after spending 10 hours plus in the parks, you just want to be back in a bed immediately. There is also good proximity to food (Mc Donald's next door, adjacent Millie's restaurant, Pizza Hut on 3rd? Floor, IHOP, Denny and others close by). The only cons of this hotel I found is parking and age. When I first arrived on Memorial Day weekend at 11 pm Sat night, the parking lot was packed and there are definitely not enough spots for the number of rooms. So on busy days/weekends, parking can be hard to find. Also the hotel interiors are very old. The sofa, the carpets, the sheets, the alarm clock (broke on me on the last day) and pretty much everything in the room needs upgrading.

The Fairfield Inn is not luxurious, but it was exactly what we were looking for: it was clean, comfortable, affordable, and only 2 blocks from the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure, so that we could walk to the park in less than 10 minutes. If I planned to spend a lot of time at the hotel I'd probably have stayed at a more luxurious one, but it served our needs nicely on this occasion, since it was simply a place to sleep.

It was exactly what we needed: affordable, clean, walking distance to Disneyland.

Parking was difficult.

The 467-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott Disneyland Anaheim Resort provides spacious accommodation ideally suited to families on vacation. The nine-story, non-smoking property is across the street for the Disneyland Resort entrance. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and parking. The Anaheim Convention Center is three blocks from the hotel. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 100 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the Honda Center, home of the Anaheim Ducks, Angel Stadium, Universal Studios and Knotts Berry Farm. Newport Beach, Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach are a 30-minute drive away.

This inn has an outdoor heated swimming pool and there is a fitness center one mile from the property. There is a Pizza Hut and Seattles Best Coffee on-site. It is the location, so close to Disneyland that makes this Fairfield Inn a winner with many families. Those who have stayed here say the facilities for younger members of the family are ideal and the staff makes every effort to insure that everyone has a good time. The rates are reasonable, considering the location, and the accommodation is clean and comfortable. Most visitors say they will stay here again the next time they come to visit Mickey and his friends. Words of warning: This is a Fairfield Inn that does not include breakfast in its room rates.
