Very nice hotel. Clean, beautiful room. Great location! I only wish the desk clerk would have been a little more friendly. He gave us a handicap room - wasn't too happy when we requested a different one.

The hotel is convenient to the River Market and LR' s night life. Rooms are stylishly furnished and roomy. Free wireless Internet, coffepot & fridge a plus. Parking is more convenient than other downtown hotels. 24 hour pantry & selfserve laundry on each floor nice, too. Minuses: hotel bar and room service (catered by nearby restaurant) closed holidays and Sundays, just like rest of neighborhood. If you don't need 24 hour everything, Courtyard will fill the bill for $50 less on average.

No help getting suitcases inside or into room. Not a problem, since I would rather do it myself. Suite had only one air conditioning unit for 2 rooms, and it was very noisy. The maid didn't show one day, probably because a "do not disturb" sign on the door, which we did not do. Everything else excellent. I recommend it to others.

I stay in about 120 hotel nights a year and this ranks in the top 10%. I am also Marriott silver rewards

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. We were looking on the mattress so we could find out what to go buy. I was impressed and can't wait to go back to the river market district.

Chose hotel b/c it was a Marriott hotel. Service was horrific: first I waited for ten minutes to check in; was assigned a room on 2nd floor and practically in the elev. shaft. Asked for high room and away from elev.- couldn't have got this anymore wrong. Next a.m. was a REALLY COLD shower. Waited more than 5 min. for water to warm. Upon check-out my rate was $10 more than I had originally booked. They offered nothing - then asked "how was your stay with us" - I just glared. And to beat all - I am a Rewards member. Positives - wireless; workout room
