Make InnSuites your base and walk or ride the SunTran buses around beautiful and exciting downtown Tucson, with its unique architecture, fine dining (or faster food that is well above the average), museums, and gift shops.

It's less than a mile of easy walking to the Tucson Convention Center, a complex that includes the Tucson Music Hall and the Leo Rich Theatre. And the Temple of Music and Art, home of the Arizona Opera Company, is just a little more than a mile away.

Museums abound. The Historic Train Depot is just over a mile away, and the Tucson Museum of Art and the Children's Museum are each just half a mile.

InnSuites Hotels City Center Tucson Suite Resort Accommodations

The rooms have been renovated recently and include the best mattresses to be found anywhere (two of my friends who have stayed there recently wanted to go out and buy the same mattress for their homes).
The rooms are equipped with two phone lines, and with a high-speed Internet connection as well. TVs are 25-inch screens. Each room has a coffee maker (with coffee) and a microwave oven.

Amenities offered

The pool is Olympic-sized, and there is also a playground for children.
This hotel has plenty of parking, and is laid out with multiple buildings so that most rooms have parking spaces right outside the door. Every morning, you can visit the breakfast room and make your own waffle with the user-friendly waffle irons, to go with the delicious juices and eggs and other items.
There's a social hour late in the afternoon with free cocktails and snacks.
If you travel without your computer, you can use one of the computers in the lobby area to check your email and surf the Web.

From the West (Phoenix): Take the Speedway/St Mary's exit (257) off I-10. Stay on Freeway Road past Speedway, then turn left on St Mary's Road. Turn right onto Granada Avenue. InnSuites is to the right, at 475 N Granada.

From the East: Take EXIT 258 toward Congress/Broadway, turn right onto W Congress St, then left onto N Granada Ave. Inn Suites is at 475 N Granada Ave, to the left.

From Tucson International Airport (about 9.5 miles):
1: Start out going SOUTHEAST on S TUCSON BLVD
2: Take S TUCSON BLVD toward AIRPORT EXIT
3: S TUCSON BLVD becomes E BENSON HWY / I-10
4: Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto S PARK AVE
5: Merge onto I-10 W toward PHOENIX
6: Take EXIT 258 toward CONGRESS ST / BROADWAY
7: Stay STRAIGHT to go onto S FREEWAY
