This is a good quality hotel with easy access to the East side of Tucson. The staff were helpful and courteous. The room was clean and neat, although the top sheet appeared to have a permanent stain on it (the sheet was otherwise clean). The pillows were hard and not very comfortable, but the bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast is economical and quick and adds to the value of the room. Overall, the hotel is a fair value for the traveler.

Good location for Eastside activities & access to Sabino Canyon.

Hard pillows were uncomfortable.

My husband accidentally dropped his wallet at the poolside tables. We left the hotel for dinner. A hotel staffer found the wallet, left us a message that they had it, and everything was returned. All cash and credit cards.

Clean, 2 free drinks, and unlimited chips & free salsa.

I liked everything.

The hotel had too much greenery growing on the stairs and the hand rails. The greenery should be trimmed back away from the hand rails, and then the Rats not field mice will not have anywhere to hide.

The hotel breakfast area.

The fact that a large RAT greeted me at the top of the stairs going to my room.

The pet-friendly Comfort Suites at Sabino Canyon is four miles from the Canyon and Mount Lemon. The non-smoking hotel comprises 90 suites designed for the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. Items included with the room rate are a full hot breakfast buffet, a managers reception on midweek evenings, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a newspaper on weekday mornings and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 65 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include Biosphere II, the Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Old Tucson Studios, the Pima Air Museum, Pinal Air Park, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, the University of Arizona and shopping at the El Con Mall, Tucson Mall and the Foothills Mall.

Travelers who stayed at this Comfort Suites said it was comfortable, quiet and convenient. The location was close to many sights, a food store, restaurants and shops. Several clients said the rates were reasonable and competitive with neighboring properties.
