Towneplace Suites by Marriott Scottsdale in Scottsdale Arizona

Stayed here based on positive reviews. Can't believe everything you read. I have traveled alot but this was first experience with Towneplace Suites. Breakfast very mediocre. Only muffins and fruit. Both times I tried to get coffee they ran out. Oven did not work. Carpets stunk. Pool out of order while I was here. Mattress was worn and uncomfortable. Twice they worked on elevator and I was on 3rd floor. Cannot recommend this property and won't stay here again.

This was the first time I'd stayed at Townplace and now it's the FIRST hotel I look for at my destinations... Very helpful staff. Wonderful roomy rooms (especially nice when traveling with a large family), excellent breakfast included hot food items - waffles, biscuts & gravy etc in addition to usual cold items and fresh fruit. All rooms have a full mini kitchen - w/an oven. Lovely heated pool and BBQ area. Near shopping, restaurants & interstate. Perfect for short or extended stay.

Stayed 5 days when my conference luxury resort was overbooked. Large, nice, clean, comfortable Rooms, Convienent to eveything in Scottsdale and 101 Loop. Oriented toward longer stay guest, Adequate Kitchen. fair contintal breakfast, but coffee replentishment falls behind during morning rush. l
