This hotel offered large clean rooms with patios. Perfect for an Arizona vacation. The pool was nice and the patio near the restaurant was enjoyable. They also had a free pool table outside that was fun to play. Great margaritas at the bar.

All of the hotel staff was very friendly. The beds were wonderful. The room was very nice. We did not get very good service in the lounge or in the restaurant. The drinks were very expensive. Lots of airplane noise, especially in the morning and evening.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Scottsdale area.

The room was large and clean. The staff was extremely helpful.

It is difficult to find.

The pet-friendly Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains has 270 luxury suites designed for the upmarket business and pleasure traveler. The three-story, non-smoking resort is surrounded by spectacular desert mountain views and is adjacent to the TPC Scottsdale Desert golf course as well as the all new TPC Scottsdale Champions golf course. The hotel, with its Mediterranean inspired architecture, has 15 meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest, the Valencia Ballroom, can accommodate 530 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include the West World Equestrian Center, Scottsdale Civic Center, Desert Ridge Marketplace, Old Town Scottsdale, Kierland Commons Shopping District, Cracker Jax Amusement Park and the Mayo Hospital.

This is a magnificent Marriott with luxury suites, superb service and marvelous mountain views. Those who only stayed here for a couple of days said they wished they could stay for a couple of weeks. Those who dined here said the meals were excellent but expensive. Despite the high costs, visitors said they could not wait to return here and planned to tell their family and friends about this gem in the desert.
