The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Scottsdale Paradise Valley comprises 122 studio and two-bedroom suites designed for the extended stay business traveler or families on vacation. The two-story, non-smoking hotel has one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 38 guests. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, a manager’s reception with a light meal on Monday through Thursday evenings, a poolside barbecue on Wednesdays, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area landmarks and attractions include four golf courses, the West World Equestrian Center, Scottsdale Civic Center, Desert Ridge Marketplace, Old Town Scottsdale, Kierland Commons Shopping District, Cracker Jax Amusement Park and the Mayo Hospital.

Former guests at this Residence Inn say it is a great place for families. The suites are spacious and reasonably priced. The kitchens are well equipped enabling some home cooked meals. Many clients enjoyed the midweek manager’s receptions and the Wednesday night barbecues. There is a work desk with high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail, television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, pullout sofa bed, hairdryer, alarm clock and an iron and ironing board.
