We were worried about the location of hotel -- van burin street is notorious in phoenix. However, the area and hotel felt quite safe. The room was very large--two double beds, a pull-out couch, a huge bathroom area, two televisions, a spacious closet, and a kitchen/work station area. There was everything you would need for an extended stay. My family was very comfortable and pleased. The breakfast was more than a continental breakfast--with waffles and yogurt and plenty of food choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also, it had rooms available for purchase at the holidays when no one else had, and at great prices. Thanks it!

My brother and I were in pHs for the police concert and needed a place to crash after so we did not have to drive back to Tucson. The hotel was very close to all business/entertainment establishments; as a matter of fact we were able to walk back to the hotel after the concert from us airways. The room itself had more stuff than we needed for just the night. Two TVs, a small fridge, sitting room, there were 2 queen beds and they were very comfy with lots of pillows. I will go back to that hotel, it was a great experience.

Big room, clean, lots of towels & pillows, surrounding area was nice!

The pool was smaller than expected.

This is a perfect hotel to stay at if you are attending sporting events at Chase Field! It is within walking distance of the field and numerous restaurants. The hotel is extremely well kept and the staff is very friendly. The bed was wonderful.

Staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable.

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Phoenix Downtown comprises 122 suites equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. The six-story, non-smoking hotel is three miles from the airport and operates a complimentary shuttle between 7am and 10pm. Other items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. All of the suites have a separate area for sleeping, working and relaxing. The hotel is within walking distance of the Convention Center, Chase Field, US Airways Center and the federal and city court buildings. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, Old Town Scottsdale, the Phoenix Zoo, Tovrea Castle and Carraro Cactus Garden, the Wrigley Mansion, the Desert Botanical Gardens and the Wildlife World Zoo.

This Marriott property is a popular spot for supporters of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Their home field is just three blocks from the property. Staying here saves the hassle of parking at Chase Field and the accommodation is reasonably priced and very comfortable. Business clients appreciated the 24-hour business center and those who made use of the airport shuttle said it worked well. There were good reviews for the team of helpful and efficient employees. Most guests said this was one of the best places to stay in downtown Phoenix and they will continue to use this hotel on future visits to the city.
