Stayed one night due to missed airline connection. Staff accommodating during this stressful time. Room service surprisingly good. The rooms need a complete makeover, though.

I have to question the rating system that gives a very average room an above average rating. While the lobby is beautifully appointed the rooms lack much of what i would expect from a 3 star property. I mean really.....a 15 inch television. And although there is no mention of a fee for parking, be prepared to pay 15 bucks a day as hotel guest, even though non-guests pay only 7. Pool was nice...If you plan to use the exercise facility wake up early (5:30a) to beat the rush, because much of the equipment is OUT OF ORDER. Location is great.

We often stay at this location, but this was our first since the change over from Crowne Plaza to Wyndham. The entry has a complete remodel - and nicely done although it seems the rooms remain unchanged. Great location, wonderful staff often highly discounted (in summer). Recommended.

93% of the staff were better than excellent, very welcoming and extremely accommodating. All of our special needs were met (we had several), with the exception that the accessible room had a queen bed rather than a king size one. Our only disappointing experience was that our departing bellman took the tip but slighted us in service, abandoning our bags, hence lower the service rating. Wish we'd had the same bellmen that we had upon arrival, both were fantastic. Enjoyed the close proximity to the ballpark, movies and restaurants. Very relaxing stay.

The night manager was rude with us and very arrogant. Maintenance was poor in gym. Not enough staff for bell desk, concierge and valet.

Check in was quick. Staff courteous, hotel beautiful. Near restaurants and convention center. Room service was prompt and food was good. When downtown construction is complete it will be great area to stay. I would stay again if in the Phoenix area.

No one greeted us upon arrival. Waited over 10 minutes to be helped at check-in. Room was not as reserved - I had reserved one king bed and got two queen. Room not much better than - no refrigerator or other ammenities. Very small room. Pool area very unappealing and not well maintained. No free hotel parking for guests. Had to pay $15 or use pay lot across the street.

Stayed here alot. They charge alot for what they have. Rooms old, dirty and broken. At first it was good, but has gotten worse. They need to fix the small things that need to be fixed. ie: ice machines, side table broken, air conditioner. This is supposed to be an upper scale hotel.

The Wyndam proved to be a very nice hotel. My husband, toddler, and myself enjoyed a beautiful walk around downtown Phoenix. The lobby is under construction, but the pool, gift shop, and rooms are worth walking around a little "dirt". There was ample parking, and the hotel was easy to find.
