Too much for Too little! - posted on 02/15/2007
room was too small but clean, With comfortable bed. Compass Restaurant was too expensive($92 for 2ppl), Only about doz. items on menu, Servings small, Still left hungry. Pool only 3.5ft deep for entire length. Hot tub broken after we had asked on phone about its availibillity. Great staff and vallet. Avalable bike taxi, 'Robbie Rides' was great and friendly. Statues of naked ppl(anatomicly correct) accross street not appropriate for families with children. Overall dissapointed that with such high prices soo little provided.

I was disappointed that the Compass restaurant charged a $15.00 cover charge just to enter into the restaurant.

In a world where Wi-Fi is free at McD's, the Hyatt wanted 13.00 a day for wireless. The beds were hard, the sheets rough. Everything was overpriced, even for a downtown hotel. This was the last time I will ever stay at ANY Hyatt. Could not have been more unimpresssed.

had a night stand full of cigarette butts. Called the desk, they said they would remove and never came up(twice). Also could hear everyword that the people in the next room were saying at 12am. Up on check-out valet took 25 mins to get my car.

I thought the rooms would be nicer. The pool area was not that nice. Would have rather have went with a different hotel. They were very professional I just thought the rooms would have been different

This hotel was in a great location, about 2 blocks to Arizona science center, hard rock cafe, central bus station.
Absolutely the worst in downtown Phoenix - posted on 11/30/2004
Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix for business on Nov '04 and the construction noise is unbearable. I had to sleep with earplugs and two pillows over my head. Asking for help from the Front Desk or the General Manager's office doesn't provide any solutions. I suggested they post an advisory to guests who contemplate booking or even at check-in, but the GM's office said the noise isn't all the time so they don't want to scare guests! Well, be scared because it's unbearable! Oh yeah, don't bother asking the valet to get you a taxi - they're not helpful at all. BUSINESS TRAVELERS, BE AWARE!
