Customer Reviews for Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa

Wow! - posted on 06/16/2005

Wow! What a wonderful place to stay! From the minute you drive in to the minute you check out, the service is excellent and the help is very sincere. The atmosphere is quietly elegant and the rooms large and luxurious. If I had to find a complaint, it was the water pressure in the shower, but overall, a wonderful, restful experience.

A Fantastic Getaway - posted on 03/06/2007

An absolutely beautiful resort with impeccable amenties and service. Highly recommend staying in one of the cottages. Note that there is no airport shuttle, and there was an extra daily "resort fee". Regardless, it is a must stay resort.

Best Resort in Phoenix - posted on 12/12/2006

That was by far the nicest place I have ever stayed at in Arizona. Everything was perfect (Staff, Room, Grounds, Food)

the parking is difficult unless you pay a fortune for valet parking.

Go Elsewhere! - posted on 07/17/2006

The room was not as reserved, smaller and with fewer amenities. We told the front desk staff that the in room safe did not have a key. We were told it would be fixed that evening and when we checked out 2 days later, it still had not been fixed, nor had they followed-up with us. The main pool area was not kept clean throughout the day. The advertised activities were not available. Now the Arizona Biltmore has double billed us for our stay and after two phone calls and one e-mail, the problem still has not been resolved.

Be prepared to spend lots of $ - posted on 01/20/2006

The room was pretty basic for the money. All the things that make the hotel special cost extra and it really adds up. Not much to do in the area besides shopping. If you have tons of money to blow, it would be a great destination.

I'll be back. - posted on 01/04/2006

This is a magnificent hotel in every way--an extremely beautiful building and grounds, world-class dining, excellent service, and wonderful facilities. My only complaint is the silly extra charges that are irritating in a hotel of this stature--it would feel better to just build them into the rate. Self-parking at $7 per night just seems ridiculous, not to mention a mandatory $20 activity fee for use of the gym, internet and other facilities.

Overall an excellent Hotel. The service was outstanding. Our room was supposed to be a King but we were placed in a twin double, there were no other rooms available so we made due. Overall outstanding Service and Restaurants. I would highly recommend this Resort.

rooms in this upscale resort are in serious need of renovation. It is a business/convension hotel at best.

Pleasant and Comfortable - posted on 08/10/2005

This is the second time that a girlfriend and I have stayed at the Arizona Biltmore. The Paradise pool and pools(there are at least 5) are the best and the cabanas are spacious, clean and even have televisions. Great place. I would recommend the Biltmore to anyone who is visiting Phoenix

Loved it! - posted on 08/05/2005

If your a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright this place will excite you! I loved the cottage room and the gardens. The 8 pools were beautiful and sooo relaxing. The only thing I can say is that I did have the worst facial I have ever had there and it cost me twice as much! When I go back,I will just experience another spa treatment instead..but I will go back.

Awesome and Relaxing - posted on 07/11/2005

The Arizona Biltmore takes you back to a simpler time, a time of elegance and relaxation. The restaurants offer 5 star dining at an affordable price. Sitting in the grand courtyard amoungst the beautifully maintained landscape, surrounded by palm trees and fountains as the occasional room service delivery bellman whizzes by on a three wheeled bicycle and rings his bell, is surreal. Take a trip to the Arizona Biltmore and experience old world elegance at its finest.

Very nice - posted on 06/07/2005

Do expect to be WOWED with a great historical experience. The grounds are exceptional and the the views are majestic. I suggest a cottage. It's well worth the extra money over a std. room. Do expect to pay handsomely for ANYTHING you purchase on-property. Quality is there, but $12 burgers are a bit unexpected at first. Your'e better off renting a bike at $10 an hour and finding a McDonald's. * did that by the way...LOL.. Don't expect an updated bathroom. It is barely a Hampton level, but with a phone. I do look forward to staying there again.

lackluster and dated - posted on 06/05/2005

When I checked in, there were dirty towels and used kleenex on the bathroom counter and the honor bar/refreshment center wasn't stocked. They stocked the refreshment center and then tried to bill me $90 for several items I did not consume. The food is average at best and the service mediocre. The rooms are dated and the facility is geared toward conferences and banquets rather than any real vacation or spa experience. Over-rated and dated best sum up the experience.
